The only way they would have is by their doing away with food stamps like they keep saying they want to...along with Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Head Start, Meals on Wheels, Unemployment insurance, and every other social safety net program designed to help our fellow Americans AND US when SHIT happens.

We used to have (and should have again) the idea that while politicians come and go...like changing diapers and for the same reason, AMERICA should remain whole and viable. It should FOREVER thrive because those of us in the populist center should do and will do whatever it takes to make sure it does. PERIOD.
It is our birthright, our legacy. HELL IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY to make sure that what our forebears created and then fought so valiantly for...and died to keep alive

We wanted better for ourselves and our descendants and we created a democratic country built on principles, values, freedoms, VISION, by a TOUGH PEOPLE who have made sure (until now) that America STAYED the leader of the free world.
BUT, we should never allow this once-great country (sliding as it is) to descend further into the muck and mire of 2nd classdom. Into FILTH, into diseased politics, diseased people, dead and decaying ideals. We used to have ideals. We used to have tremendous VISION. Shared vision.
