EDITORIAL

WE USED TO DREAM DREAMS. 

In fact we led the entire world in dreaming dreams. BIG dreams. Dreams of flying and driving and farm machinery like the Cotton Gin. Long before Al Gore invented the Internet, hahaha, we dreamed up stuff nobody else ever had or maybe ever would have had without us.

We DREAMED and then we made them come true. After that we shared the completed dreams with the world. We USED TO BE really un-selfish like that. Aviation, Technology, wonders of art and science and literature and...

AND ALL BECAUSE AS A NATION 
AND AS INDIVIDUALS, 

we dared to dream. 
We dared to reach out and touch the future, 
we reached inside ourselves to see what was there 
and we found MAGIC.

 WHY CANNOT WE DO THAT AGAIN?

WHY?

WHY?

I cry for the magic that was ours to touch. It lay inside us. I cry for the country that produced MAGIC, because we had created a country which allowed us to dream 
and do and share. We did not keep our magic to ourselves out of some selfish  bullshit like so many 
want to do now, Republicans in particular.

I CRY FOR THE COUNTRY. I cry for the country that has BEEN so much, Done so much, Given so much, MEANT so much to every person in the world. Well, we are failing now. Failing others and failing ourselves.

YES WE ARE FAILING.

FAILING THE WORLD BECAUSE...

a bunch of small-minded, small-in-stature, narrow-minded, greedy and lustful and self-indulgent fear-mongerers led by the ASSHOLES-IN-CHIEF Karl Rove and Dick Armey in particular, following Reagan...
have risen up and TOLD THE AMERICAN PEOPLE  
WE CANNOT BE INNOVATORS ANYMORE. WE CANNOT DREAM, CANNOT ENTERTAIN VISIONS, CANNOT PRODUCE MAGIC.

NOT ANYMORE.

THEY SAY COUNTRIES LIKE CHINA CAN BUT NOT AMERICA. WE DON'T HAVE WHAT IT TAKES ANYMORE. MAYBE LONG AGO BUT NO MORE.

THEY ARE FIRING SHOTS AT OUR COLLECTIVE WILL,  AND AT OUR TALENT, AND THEY ARE DETERMINED TO DESTROY WHAT MADE US UNIQUE AND AMERICAN. They are trying to destroy our soul, our spirit, 
our life force.

FUCK THAT SHIT!

WE ARE STILL AMERICA AND WE ARE STILL AMERICANS.

BY GOD, AND GODDAMMIT...

YES WE CAN. YES WE STILL CAN, cause 
WE STILL GOT WHAT IT TAKES.

But NOT if we keep listening to the naysayers, to the fearmongerers, to the hateful bastards who keep firing 
at a PROUD AND INCREDIBLE PEOPLE.

Have you ever stopped to wonder?

WHY do the Kochs and the other 400 or so
WANT TO RUN AMERICA so bad

IF AMERICA is as bad as they keep saying it is. BECAUSE, THEY KNOW what they are saying is bullpucky. America is as good as it ever was and they know it. Do you honestly believe that the Kochs want to take over a FAILED COUNTRY? No and they know beyond a doubt we are still at our core THE BEST COUNTRY ON EARTH.

They want America BECAUSE they want to harness US. Our spirit, our soul, our talent and creativity, our MINDS...for themselves. They KNOW we are good and they want it out of some mind control warp shit. 

You know why? BECAUSE THEY KNOW...

they will never succeed by themselves. 
Not on the scale they want to. 
They can never win over us legitimately 
and honestly with their ideas. 
They don't have any ideas. 
They don't think that far ahead. 
It's all about control but THEN what.

It is ONLY by lying and deceiving and manipulating the gullible vulnerable haters mostly in rural areas 
and mainly in the South. The hateful like the people 
who have NEVER IN THEIR HEARTS AND MINDS accepted the loss of the Civil War.

BRING UNTO ME ALL YE WHO ARE IGNORANT, DISENGAGED, VULNERABLE, SIMPLE-MINDED, HATERS OF EVERYTHING. 

The disenfranchised, and WE WILL bring you doom.

They want really badly those raised in the church, especially in the south, for it is those they feel are the easiest to co-opt.  The ones who maybe were raised in the church but for whom religion is empty rhetoric. 
All pomp and circumstance without the 
POWER of Jesus in it.

Those who are used to being told they must have 
BLIND FAITH, but who are scared  shitless of death 
and life because they have bible verses up the ass 
but not the meaning behind them. Gospel but 
NOT FULL Gospel. Spirituals without the spirit which created them...and most hide behind the cloak of Christianity but who do NOT have the centerpiece of it. Jesus Christ.

The Koch Brothers and Karl Rove and the others know full well America is worth fighting for, but they seem to be overlooking one simple fact. AMERICANS ARE FIGHTERS. We may be slow to act, but once we do...LOOK OUT.

YES AMERICA IS WORTH FIGHTING FOR.

SO, why aren't you? HUH?

WHY ARE YOU NOT FIGHTING FOR YOUR COUNTRY ALREADY? HERE!

FIGHTING FOR YOUR FELLOW AMERICANS, 
YOUR FAMILIES, YOURSELVES.

THE WARNING SIGNS ARE ALL AROUND US ALREADY.

THIS IS THE VERY FIRST TIME IN WORLD HISTORY when everyone  

will get to see the decline and fall 
of a major civilization...

This may well be the LAST FIGHT we ever fight as a country. There more than likely will be little left...
